Obituary For Pifolau Maalona

Pifolau Maalona born December 12, 1925 in the island of Western Samoa. Daughter of the late Posiulai and Tote Tia. Eldest sister of 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Wife of the late Rev. Leomiti Maalona. Mother of 11 kids survived by Raymond Maalona, Donald Maalona, Evile Rusty Maalona, Patrick Maalona and Elaine Maalona. Grandmother to 14 grandkids and 13 great-grandkids.

A woman who dedicated her life to serving the Lord and caring for her family and others. Shes known amongst many people and her spirit lit up any room. The strength, back bone and heart of her family. She is not somebody you could ever forget. Your love, presence and spirit will be missed grandma!

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019, 5 to 8 PM, at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd, Fremont. With a Prayer Service at 6:30PM. Chapel Service will be on Friday, March 15, 2019, 10 AM, at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd, Fremont. Followed with a burial at Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno.

    This beautiful woman is my Grandma, I am her second born grand child..Grandma I remember you and grandpa telling me and Dawn..that your prayers have been answered...He said he prayed and prayed that you would see me and Dawn one time before you left this earth..and your prayers had been answered..thank goodness Patrick graduated from high school huh..when we first went to San Diego Dawn tells me Judy, " there's your nose", I thought well your right, I'm going to be cute my whole life..i do resemble you and grandpa a lot it's in my blood..Well grandma when you run into my beautiful Mom, can you hug her and kiss her tell her my sun don't shine without her..and Give grandpa a big hug n kiss..and My Teddy bear Uncle Leo, Ronald, Doffy, My uncle tommy n my moms mom and dad..i know you will do that for me..May you rest in paradise you beautiful lady..I love you dearly..your Grand Daughter Judy Ann and Great Grandson James Keone...
