Obituary For Michael Botello

Michael Botello, age 55, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 in Hayward, California.

Michael was born on June 17, 1963 in North Hollywood to Bertha and Jose Botello. Shortly after his birth, the family moved to and settled in Fremont where Michael spent his childhood and adolescence. Michael graduated from Fremont Christian in 1981 and then completed an automotive program at the Arizona Automotive Institute. Michael returned to the Fremont and Union City area where he married Sandra Chapa and had two children, Jacqueline and Nicholas. He worked at NUMMI for almost 20 years. In his free time, he enjoyed coaching and attending Little League baseball games, snowboarding, riding his bike and ATV’s, playing pool, and bowling.

Michael was preceded in death by his loving step-father Vernon Van Dusen. He is survived by his mother Bertha Van Dusen, his two sisters Lynn and Jenni, his niece Bella, his nephew Jason, his children, Jacqueline and Nicholas, and his three grandsons, Michael, Dominic, and Kainan.
