Obituary For Jose Loza
A devout Catholic, committed husband, loving father, caring brother, adoring grandfather, and faithful friend.
José Loza better-known as “Pepe”, passed away receiving his Holy Sacraments, on March 2nd, 2014 at the age of 68.
Born on October 27, 1945 in San Jose de Los Reynosos, Jalisco, Mexico, “Pepe” lived his life with humor, discipline, hard work and above all with great integrity. At the age of 20 “Pepe” migrated to the United States seeking a better life for himself and the family he wished to create with his beloved wife Dolores. They settled and resided in Newark, California for 42 years.
He is survived by his wife Dolores Hernandez Loza; his children: Jacqueline, Ricardo, Eduardo, Gabriel; his siblings: Refugio Loza, Ermelinda Casillas Loza, Carmela Loza; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9, from 1-5pm with a Vigil at 4pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 10, 10:30am at St. Edward's Catholic Church, 5788 Thornton Ave., Newark, CA 94560. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA.
