Obituaries

Helen Rauch passed away peacefully at home on January 4th at the age of 89. Helen is preceded in death by her beloved husband William. She is survived by her children: Mary (Kelly), William (Teresa), Jon (Nancy), and Lisa (Lee). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Justin, Elizabeth, Ashley, William, Courtney, James, Kyle, Taylor, and Michael; and great-grandchildren: Madey, and Mickey. Helen was born and raised in Kalaheo, Kauai and her remaining sisters, Bella Marques and Minnie Freitas, still reside there. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8th from 5-8pm with a Vigil at 6:30pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 9th, 10:30am at St. Edward's Catholic Church, 5788 Thornton Ave., Newark, CA 94560. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA.
