Arthur Miramontes, age 66, passed away peacefully at his home in Modesto California on January 31, 2019. He was surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 1, 1952 in Union City California to Jose and Alicia Miramontes. He married the love of his life Mona Miramontes, on July 9, 1977 in Niles California. He was a loving father to Delilah (Jeremiah Sr.) and Art Jr. (Veronica) Loving grandfather of 6 grandchildren, Analisa, Jeremiah Jr. Tatiana, Marisol, Laylah and Juan. Art was a wonderful son to Alicia Miramontes and will be dearly missed. He will also be lovingly remembered by his brother Frankie (Lorraine), sister Norma (Steve), brothers Manuel (Teresa), and Ruben (Melody), father in law David, mother in law Belia, brother-in-law David (Sheri), and sisters-in law Julie and Anita (Ron) and many nieces and nephews. Art was predeceased by his father Jose and older brother Joe.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday February 9, at 1 p.m. at Fremont Memorial Chapel 3723 Peralta Blvd. Fremont Ca. Reception to follow from 3:30 to 6:30 at Ruggieri Senior Center 33997 Alvarado-Niles Rd. Union City Ca.
