Obituary For Albert Seymore Sr.

On April 24, 2019 Albert Seymore Sr, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away at age 60.

He was born on July 19th, 1958 to Lee Arthur and Ruby Grace Seymore in San Francisco, CA. Albert moved to Union City, CA in the early 70’s, where he attended James Logan High School. He met his wife Virginia Seymore in 1973; they welcomed their daughter Christine to the world in January 1976 and married on March 18th, 1976, soon after they would welcome their baby boy Albert Jr to the world in 1979.

Albert was a retired bus driver and a jack of all trades. He loved fishing; some of his greatest memories were fishing with his close friends, his uncle and his dad. He loved to umpire little league baseball and he loved to BBQ and DJ parties.

There wasn’t anything he couldn’t do and if he didn’t know how YouTube became his best friend. He loved his family and his grandchildren were one of his greatest gifts. He was proud of all their accomplishments and would even brag about how well they did to anyone that would listen.

He is remembered by the respect, love, and compassion he showed not only his children but anyone that came in contact with him. He helped everyone, many of his neighbors remember him by his willingness to help them, whether it be the little old lady that needed her lawn mower or the widower who lost her husband and needed a helping hand, or just a random stranger who was in need, if he was around he was going to help them. He touched so many lives; most were touched by his humor, in any situation you can count on him to make you laugh. He had a way of setting someone up to be the bunt of his jokes.

Albert was preceded in death by his father and mother, uncle Sammy, and brother Dan and godson Daniel. He is survived by his wife Virginia, daughter Christine, and son Albert Jr, his daughter-in-law Carmen, and god-son Joseph and Michael. His brothers: Robert Lee, Sammy, and Alton and his beloved sister Shirley and sister-in-law Michelle. His grandchildren, Vanessa, Albert III, Toure, Romello, Darrius, Kalani, Meiliani, Yasmin, and his sidekick Dominic, and his sweet grandbaby Tina along with many many nieces and nephews, cousins, family and an immense amount of friends.
